The trends of online shopping in Pakistan have been increasing rapidly. It provides convenience to buy 24/7 while staying comfortable at home and saving time.  On the other hand, there is lack of trust on online shopping in Pakistan. It is due to fraudulent practices and consumers’ lack of knowledge on online shopping. We are giving some useful tips for our consumers: -

 

HOW TO FIND IF A BRAND PAGE OR WEBSITE IS TRUSTWORTHY?

All brands websites have their pages on social media like Facebook and Instagram.  Please check the review section (highlighted in red circle). When you click on it, you can see customer reviews. It helps you to give a very clear picture of seller and brand. 

 

We have seen most of pages have closed “review” section and it makes a page doubtful. It means you do not find any reviews section on the Facebook page.

Most of fraudulent sellers are running business through Facebook and Instagram pages only. They sell luxury items on cheap prices. We have identified some sellers sell luxury products in bundles and at very low cost. It clearly indicated that these are fraudulent sellers.

We highly recommend to chat or talk to customer services department of brand and ask questions. It helps you to understand the knowledge of products and grip of customer service department in giving proper information. All good brands must have return and exchange policy. Please make sure to buy only from those brand pages that offer exchange and return policy.

You can also ask or consult your family and friends who buy online products. They share their experience and it helps you in selecting a genuine seller online.
